When I was 13 years old I picked up my first copy of Sonic the hedgehog the comic book. I think almost immediately I fell in love with the little blue guy. However I hated his games, platform gaming was never my style I was always more a strategist. I enjoyed attention to detail and bringing out intricate designs with simple mediums. Ever since I began reading those comics though I've tried to mimic the style and draw my favorite blue hedgehog. It's been a long time since then though, I'm 24 now and I've developed my own style of artwork, even created my own characters which perhaps I'll use in my webcomic I'm planning on starting. I've always been heavily influenced by those comics though, hence why alot of my work revolves around anthropomorphism. I'm starting to expand my horizons though and practice using other mediums and styles, However my heart will always be with Illustration work. Although it's just a hobby, maybe someday I'll turn it into a paycheck, but most likely not, I hate drawing under pressure. But this is just a little entry on some insight into why I got into drawing and how long I've been doing it. I appreciate hearing critiques and comments, even some positive reinforcement or constructive critiscism. After all I know I'm not the best but perhaps with suggestions and comments you can all help me see flaws I miss or reinforce something you think i did exceptionally well.
